At The Illinois Renaissance Festival, you can step back in time
to the 16th Century and relive history and traditions of long ago.
This full scale, live re-enactment experience is like no other. The Festival
offers you a chance to visit the days of His Majesty King Henry VIII. There will be ribbons and flags waving in the wind, the sound of lutes, the lilt of foreign accents, and the smells of exotic foods cooking, as well as artisans hawking their wares, jugglers amusing you and the ribaldry of actors performing on various stages. No Polearms, Firearms, or Black Powder Pistol. Patrons are Not Permitted to bring Pets or Alcohol into the Village. |
